Job Title: Receptionist

Role Overview

* We are seeking a professional and personable Hotel Receptionist to be the face of their establishment.
* As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, playing a pivotal role in ensuring their stay is memorable and seamless.
* This position requires a mix of customer service expertise, organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality.


Key Responsibilities

* Warmly welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out processes.
* Handle reservations, cancellations, and inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
* Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
* Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
* Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
* Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
* Ensure the front desk area is well-organized and presentable at all times.


What We are Looking For

Education & Experience:
* High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
* Prior experience in customer service or front desk roles (1 - 2 years preferred).
* Background in hospitality or tourism is advantageous.

Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and MS Office.
* Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
* A problem-solving mindset with a positive attitude.
* Fluency in [English] (additional languages are a plus).
