Responsibilities

* Creating and maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and respect.
* Communicating effectively with students to share information about student progress, concerns, and support strategies.
* Providing individualized support to students who may be struggling or require additional support
* Continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and staying updated on best practices in teaching and subject-matter knowledge.
* Working collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and staff members to enhance the school's educational programs and student outcomes.
* Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, selecting appropriate teaching materials and resources, and ensuring curriculum coverage.
* Assess student performance and set goals
* Use technology to enhance learning experiences
* Setting assessments and overseeing examinations
* Keep an orderly classroom
* Engage & encourage students to learn
* Prepare the classroom for class activities


Requirements

* Candidates should possess a B.Ed / PGCE / PGDE with at least 3 years work experience.
* Must have Subject Matter Expertise
* Must have experience teaching and preparing students for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education(IGCSE)
* Must possess time management, conflict resolution, classroom management skill.
