African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML), established by African Industries Group, operates a fully integrated iron ore mining and processing plant in Gujeni village, Kagarko LGA, Kaduna state, the first of its kind in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Location: Kaduna

Job Summary

* The Computer Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and surveillance infrastructure.
* The role includes managing IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of CCTV systems across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

* Design, install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
* Set up and maintain CCTV surveillance systems including cameras, DVR/NVR units, and monitoring stations.
* Monitor and troubleshoot CCTV systems to ensure proper functionality and data retention.
* Perform regular checks and preventive maintenance on CCTV infrastructure.
* Provide real-time support for network and system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Install and upgrade operating systems and business applications.
* Configure and manage firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
* Ensure security of IT and surveillance systems through access control, encryption, and threat prevention.
* Collaborate with vendors and security teams for surveillance system upgrades or expansions.


Qualifications and Skills

* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
* 2 – 3 years of experience in IT systems support, networking, and CCTV system management.
* Strong understanding of IP-based CCTV systems, DVR/NVR technology, and video management software.
* Knowledge of network protocols, server systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud platforms.
* Familiarity with access control systems and physical security integration.
* Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and floor plans.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
