Sustainable Family Healthcare Foundation (SFHF) is an indigenous, humanitarian non-governmental organization established to promote the rights and access of vulnerable communities, including Persons with Disabilities to affordable and sustainable quality of life, with focus on access to inclusive Sexual and Reproductive health services with special focus on Obstetric fistula, WASH and livelihood interventions.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Program Officer (Medicals)
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time


Key Responsibilities

* Lead technical planning and implementation of quality sexual and reproductive health( Safe Motherhood Strategies, Comprehensive Fistula Care, and Social Behavioural Change Communication (SBCC) ) including inclusion activities.
* Budgeting & Procurements: Works with the Finance and Logistics teams regarding budgeting and procurement processes for program activities.
Coordinate all clinical program logistics, including site readiness, activity budgeting, and resource mobilization in collaboration with the finance and logistics teams.
* Support clinical quality improvement through monitoring visits, infection control activities, and data-driven reviews at project-supported sites.
* Capacity Building for Volunteers & Providers: Assess training needs, when appropriate; coordinate planned training of community structures and healthcare providers to improve knowledge, skill competence on Maternal and Newborn Health and Fistula management as required.
* Collaboration: Identify key stakeholders and partners including government and other authorities in all the project states to support implementation of project- supported activities.
* Conduct training needs assessments and facilitate capacity-building for healthcare providers and community-based structures on maternal health and fistula management.
* Engage with stakeholders, including government health authorities and partners, to strengthen collaboration and visibility of project activities.
* Produce timely reports for all activities and contribute to quarterly and annual reporting.
* Work closely with the M&E unit to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
* Represent SFHF in relevant technical meetings, forums, and stakeholder engagements.
* Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the project lead or management.


Requirements

* A Bachelor's Degree or HND in Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health, or a related field. A Master's Degree is an added advantage.
* 3 – 8 years of relevant experience in SRH, maternal health, or obstetric fistula programming, especially in humanitarian or development settings.
* Proven experience in clinical programming, training facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.
* Strong understanding of inclusive healthcare delivery models, especially for women and persons with disabilities.
* Excellent communication, report writing, and teamwork skills.
