Job Title: Physics / Mathematics Teacher
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Responsibilities

* Develop and deliver lesson plans for maths and physics
* Assess and evaluate student progress and performance
* Prepare students for standardized tests and exams
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience
* Provide academic support and mentoring to students
* Attend faculty meetings and professional development sessions
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades.


Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, or related fields with 2 - 3 years work experience.
* Teaching certification or licensure
* Proven experience teaching maths and physics at the secondary level
* Strong understanding of curriculum standards and best teaching practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
