A member of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Musa Ribadu Sani, has resigned from the party.

Sani resigned from the ADC less than one month after it was adopted by the opposition coalition.

In a letter dated July 10, 2025, Sani blamed the factionalization of the ADC and lack of clear direction as the reason for his resignation.

Sani addressed the resignation letter to the Chairman of Bako Ward in Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The letter reads:

“Dear Chairman,

“I hereby resign my membership from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with immediate effect.

“This decision is due to the growing factionalism within the party and a lack of clear direction, which stems from continued unseriousness by the leadership.

“Thank you for the opportunity to serve.”

A few weeks ago, the opposition coalition had adopted the ADC as its official platform.

The party now has imminent Nigerians from all political divides coming together with the aim of removing President Bola Tinubu from power in 2027.
