We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Bookkeeping:
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice validation and timely payment scheduling.
* Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
* Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
* Maintain accurate records through journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit schedules.
* Coordinate with fund administrators on NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investment flows.
* Record and reconcile fund-related income and expenditure.
* Assist in developing annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory financial filings.
* Oversee payments, track cash positions, and manage banking and service provider relationships.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and data integrity.


Educational Background

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Actively pursuing or already qualified in a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT).


Experience & Skills:

* 3–5 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within financial services or asset management.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or NetSuite.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modelling capabilities.
* Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
