Job Title: Assistant Finance Associate
Location: Bauchi
Employment Type: Contract


Job Summary

* We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Associate to support the day-to-day financial operations of our organization in Bauchi State.
* The successful candidate will assist with financial documentation, reporting, transaction processing, and compliance with internal and donor financial regulations.


Key Responsibilities

* Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including payment vouchers, receipts, and petty cash.
* Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations.
* Maintain accurate documentation of transactions and support audit processes.
* Assist in ensuring compliance with organizational financial policies and donor requirements.
* Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager, including procurement documentation and vendor payments.
* Track budget expenditure against project funds and report variances.
* Ensure proper filing of financial and administrative documents.


Qualifications & Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the NGO sector.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is an added advantage.
* Strong attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Willingness to relocate and live in Bauchi State throughout the duration of the role.


Salary
N150,000 - N190,000 Monthly.
